Yoshiko's Autobiography (An Online Exam)

I was born on June 22,1993 to Jhunne and Eleanor Balagon in Davao City. I have two younger siblings. I also am born to a big family. Being a Filipino, I am one of the many who has the "extended family." (And I love it!)

I started going to school at the age of four. I was enrolled as Nursery two. I skipped Nursery one and Kinder two, as well. So I proceeded to 1st Grade at the age of six. I was an honor student until 3rd Grade. By the way, I have entered six schools in total when I was in elementary and high school.

When I was young, I got all the attention of the family since I was the first child and grandchild on my mother's side. I was spoiled in most ways but mistakes were not tolerated. I also encountered grounds and punishment. My life turned colorful at the age of 14. I got grounded for almost five months. It was because of thing I did wrong - particularly, not obeying rules. I learned my lesson a year after, though.

I was able to reach Compostela because of my father being assigned to pastor a church here. It was hard for me, really. Living here and leaving my friends and life back in Davao was a challenge I was not ready to take. And even if I was, I wasn't gonna take it. For me, it was way too risky. But what could I do if it's God's hand that would touch my life? After all, it's His life I'm just managing, right? All the time I have in this world is all because of God's plan and will. And now, I'm convinced that it's because of that reason that I am here in Compostela - to do His will.
